Horace Mann Elementary's Mission

Our mission to promote a safe and brain-compatible environment for all students, staff, and visitors is ongoing.  Every certified and classified staff member has received professional development in the Highly Effective Teaching Model.  This model provides a common set of high expectations with regards to academics, behavior, and citizenship at Horace Mann Elementary School. The use of LIFESKILLS and Lifelong Guidelines in the classroom promote community as well as individual accountability.
